FDE is a team member on both Large Business and Small Business teams on the Design & Engineering Support Program II (DESPII). The DESPII contract is designed to provide a rapid contracting pool to the U.S. Air Force and other DoD/Government agencies (Navy, Army, Marines, NASA, DOE, DOT, DOS, EPA, OSHA, USCG, DHS, FAA, FEMA, etc.) in support of the design and engineering/technical support services for mission weapon systems, components, and support equipment including engineering design, integration, system modifications, limited manufacturing, activities to support process analysis and improvements for maintenance/repair operations. FDE is a prime contractor in Zone 4 and Zone 6 (Southern US) and is on a number of other teams as a subcontractor in all other zones. The SeaPort-e contract is designed to support rapid contracting of Engineering, Technical and Programmatic support services for the Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR). FDE Corp has two GSA contracts; one in the Professional Engineering Services Schedule 871 contract and one in the MAS Schedule 70 SIN 132-51 contract for Information Technology Supply Service.
FDE Corp. is a first tier subcontractor / partner to SYMVIONICS, Inc. on the NAVAIR TSD Training Systems Contract (TSC) II, Lot I Program. In this role, we have bid and performed on delivery orders under this contract and continue to work with SYMVIONICS to offer quality and cost efficient solutions to the Navy.
FDE Corp. was selected by Lockheed Martin to support their Fielded Training Systems Support (FTSS) II contract for the U.S. Navy. The FTSS II contract is a five year ID/IQ with an $800 million ceiling designed to provide training services to fielded NAVAIR systems. FDE was selected based on our performance on the U.S. Navy S-3B / H-60 In Service Engineering Office contract at NAS North Island, CA.
Boeing selected FDE Corp. to join the Air Force Flexible Acquisition Sustainment Tool (FAST) Program. The program is a $1B ceiling contract awarded and managed by Warner Robbins Air Force Base to provide USAF system managers with a rapid response capability in support of a broad range of war fighter requirements including services such as engineering, logistics, manufacturing, finance, program office and deployment. As a member of the NAVAIR PM MAC (Program Management Multiple Award Contract) team led by Computer Sciences Corporation, FDE Corp provides Financial and Support Services in the areas of Day-to-Day Operations, Planning and Cradle to Grave Acquisitions, Contractor and Product Performance Support, Technical Support in Data Reviews, Configuration and Design Review Support, Budget and Financial Management, Production Support, GFP/GFI/GFE Support, Acquisition Management Support, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Support and Support for International Programs.

S-3B & Helo
FDE provides engineering expertise and services for the S-3B and H-60 In-Service Engineering Office (ISEO) at NAS North Island. FDE is responsible for updating the S-3B, SH-60B and SH-60F trainers and supporting the Contracting Officer Representative. FDE's engineers are responsible for assuring that the modification requirements are clearly defined, the design goals have been considered and the delivered documentation is complete and accurate. The current contract is a 5 year requirements type contract with a ceiling of $10 Million.
S-3B
FDE is completing a contract to provide engineering expertise and services for the S-3B In-Service Engineering Office (ISEO) at NAS North Island. FDE is responsible for updating the S-3B trainer hardware, software, and documentation in support of the Contracting Officer Representative. FDE's engineers are responsible for assuring that the modification requirements are clearly defined, the design goals have been considered, and the delivered documentation is complete and accurate.
B-52
FDE provides engineering expertise and services for the B-52 Training Devices program at OO-ALC. FDE also travels to B-52 sites as determined by the Government's program manager in order to support other B-52 training programs.
FDE provides an on-site engineer at Hill AFB, Utah who works under the direction of the Government's program manager. FDE's engineer is responsible for assuring that the modification requirements are clearly defined, the design goals have been considered and the delivered documentation is complete, accurate, and will support a competitive environment. FDE will also provide additional personnel to perform engineering studies and analyses for the B-52 WST training devices.
MC-130H
FDE provides on-call maintenance for the U.S. Air Force MC-130H Talon II Avionics Subsystem Trainer (AST). These trainers provide maintenance personnel essential operational checkout and troubleshooting experience on aircraft avionics systems. FDE provides maintenance and configuration management support for training locations in the U.S. and abroad.
