FDE Overview

FDE is a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) incorporated in the State of Utah. Two years after incorporation, FDE was selected by the SBA for certification and participation in the 8(a) program. Coming into the 8(a) program in 1997, FDE's goals were clearly defined: grow and expand the company within the 8(a) program to develop FDE into a thriving business that will compete and survive after graduation from the program.

To meet these goals, our business strategies were straightforward; carefully screen all business opportunities to ensure success for FDE in these ventures, learn and document processes necessary to expand capabilities, recruit and retain top-notch employees and form strategic alliances within the industry to deliver the best value to customers.

After five years, FDE has accomplished these initial goals. FDE has wisely selected oportunities that fit it's capabilities and delivered on multiple contracts for several customers including NAVAIR Orlando. FDE continues to grow in knowledge and expertise to ensure all customers receive quality products and services. Currently FDE is staffed with 48 employees and is generating revenues approaching $3 million per year.
