FDE Prime Contract: N61339-03-C-0102 (Zone 4). FDE is developing a new common baseline systems trainer to provide Computer Based Training/Interactive Courseware for aviation technical training at the Naval Aviation Technical Training Center (NATTC), Pensacola, which encompasses system development, training and course development, and technology integration. Multiple hardware-type training simulators are installed in the "A" Schools throughout NATTC and are used to simulate the operational fleet maintenance equipment in a student "hands-on" environment. The new 2H148 and PC simulation software replaces these hardware simulators with a software solution allowing Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine Corps trainees to practice organizational and intermediate level maintenance functions in a simulated environment. Training includes system operation, component identification, built-in tests, functional checks, inspection, and fault isolation. CSC Prime Contract: GS00T99ALD0204 TO T0001AJM025 (Zone 6). CSC provides training support for the analysis of Fleet tests and training by developing, installing, and operating embedded and special purpose data collection systems, instrumentation, telecommunications systems, and distributed network architecture on ships and aircraft, and at training ranges. CSC also provides IT and Data reconstruction support for CINCPACFLT, COMSEVENTHFLT, and COMTHIRDFLT. Tasks include support for training exercises/tests involving single units in Joint and Multinational exercises. CSC participates in pre-exercise planning, coordinating qualified support personnel, and provide post-exercise/event briefings at various command levels. CSC prepares exercise data processing plans for exercise test data collection and reconstruction. |
