3.14 Interoperability, Test and Evaluation, Trials Support

FDE Prime Contracts: N61339-02-D-0001 (Zones 4 & 6) N61339-03-C-0102 (Zone 4). Throughout the execution of the S-3B and H-60 ISEO Engineering Support Contract, and the development of Devices 2H148 and 2H148A for the UST Contract, FDE has successfully applied the engineering, scientific, and analytical disciplines necessary to ensure that the delivered systems are properly tested. Under the S-3B Tactics Instructor/Operator Station (TAC IOS) Delivery Order of the S-3B ISEO Contract, FDE provided the services required to install and support a complete system modernization of the instructor operator interface system on S-3B Weapons System Trainers (WST). In support of this modification, FDE updated all applicable documentation, conducted pre-modification inspections, performed QA inspection on kits prior to installation to reduce problems during the hardware/software integration phase, installed the hardware kits, conducted Contractor Final Inspection, and participated in Government Final Inspection. In the extensive test and evaluation program conducted as part of the UST contract, we are installing and testing over seven hundred modified student and instructor systems.
